If your little one is planning on sending a letter to Father Christmas you better get a move on and take advantage of the free festive service Royal Mail is offering.

It has become a tradition for the postal service to team up with Santa and his elves in December - all you need to do is write your letter and post it to the seasonal address in Reindeerland.

Post your letter by tomorrow Friday, December 9 to give you the best possible chance of getting a reply by Christmas Eve.

On the Royal Mail site Santa said: "Christmas is a very exciting but busy time for me: the elves are making toys, the reindeer are practising their sleigh runs, and I'm busy preparing my list of who's been good this year.

"I need to let the elves know what to make so to help me out, please let me know what you would like as early as possible.

"I will be getting my sleigh ready for the long journey on Christmas Eve and in between I will try to reply to as many of you as possible."

Make sure you write out the address clearly on the envelope and send it to:

Santa/Father Christmas,
Santa's Grotto,
Reindeerland,
