Prepare for some slipping, sliding fun in the sun as Slide the City comes to Leeds.

The popular American water slide is setting up camp at Roundhay Park on Saturday July 25, noon-5pm, with a 120m slide for you to speed down!

The summer attraction will makes waves in Manchester next week before sliding into Leeds at the end of the month.

How much does it cost?

Double slider tickets are £15. That gets you a wristband that enables you to have two goes on the slide, and two free inflatable tube rentals (you can bring your own too). The first 200 riders to registers will also get a free goody bag, with a tattoo, silicone wristband, waterproof phone case and a drawstring bag.

Triple slider tickets are £20. You get to slide three times and get three free inflatable tube rentals — and the first 200 riders to register will get a goody bag.

Super Slider tickets are £35. That gets you six total slides throughout the day (starting at 10am, before other sliders) and six tube rentals, plus the first 500 sliders to register for this ticket will get the free goody bag.

Who can join the fun?

Sliders must be five years old and/or 116cm to ride Slide The City.

And good news, happy snappers: GoPro cameras and selfie sticks are allowed on the slide!

What should I wear?

Anything, but swimwear would be best, and of course it depends on the weather. Jeans or clothes with spikes or studs or similar are not allowed.
