Mother's Day is less than a month away.

Of course, we appreciate our mothers every day of the year, but Mothering Sunday gives us an extra opportunity to make mum feel extra special.

Whether you say it with flowers, go out for afternoon tea or cook a big roast dinner for all the family, make sure you're prepared for this year's festivities.

Mother's Day this year is Sunday March 15.

The date changes every year. Mother's Day doesn't have a fixed date as it is linked to Easter, which moves annually because of the lunar calendar.

Mothering Sunday is always the fourth Sunday in the month of Lent.
