The Avengers go head to head in the new Captain America movie

A year has passed since the events of Avengers: Age Of Ultron and the US Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross (William Hurt) insists on the introduction of legislation - The Sokovia Accords - to control the superheroes.

Tony Stark, aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), reluctantly supports the idea of a governing body for the team.

Steve Rogers, aka Captain America (Chris Evans), wants them to be independent and able to help people without interference.

The gulf between Stark and Rogers forces the remaining Avengers to take sides.

Meanwhile, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), pledge their allegiance to Rogers.

A battle royal between the two factions unfolds just as a new enemy, Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl), threatens mankind.
