Music video director Daniel Wolfe's debut film, Catch Me Daddy , won critics' praise at the Cannes' Directors Fortnight last year and will now be shown on the big screen across the UK.

The film, written by Wolfe with his brother Matthew, follows a female heroine Laila (Sameena Jabeen Ahmed) who is hiding from her family and living on the Yorkshire moors with her boyfriend.

But things take a frightening turn when her father hires a group of thugs who search the moors for her, accompanied by her brother.

Part-funded by Screen Yorkshire's Yorkshire Content Fund, Catch Me Daddy was shot on location in Mixenden, Todmordern, Baildon, Halifax, Wainstall, Rishworth Moor and Holmfirth.

Some scenes were filmed in Oldham, Rochdale and Acrington, in the North West.

Daniel Wolfe has previously worked with artists including Chase & Status and Plan B.
