SHE is the current Strictly Come Dancing champion with partner Olympic gymnast Louis Smith.

He is her fellow Strictly professional Vincent Simone who with his TV partner Dani Hamar, also made the final of the 2012 series.

Together they are the hottest tango dance act in the business with a massive following for their show, Midnight Tango.

Now the TV series is over for another season, Flavia Cacace and Vincent are back on the road and will be bringing all the drama and passion of tango to Leeds this summer.

The show will be at Leeds Grand Theatre from July 29 to August 3. Tickets are already selling fast and no wonder.

Fresh from her win on Strictly, Flavia has a massive dance following as has her fellow Italian, Vincent.

But it as professional dance partners with their mastery of the Argentinian tango that they have perhaps won most hearts.

They met when they were in their teens, in England, both looking for new dance partners with whom to compete.

By coincidence they were both Italian, and apart from working on their dancing, Flavia says her Italian improved and Vincent learnt to speak English so it was a real bonus to them both.

They competed successfully for many years and now looking back at their old diaries they find it hard to imagine how they managed to study, work, rehearse and compete internationally all at the same time.

Midnight Tango is a show which showcases their talent to perfection.

It is choreographed by Flavia and Vincent who star in the show alongside some of the finest tango dancers in the world.

Set in a late-night bar in downtown Buenos Aires Midnight Tango brings to life the danger and excitement, joy and jealousy, pain and passion expected from the tango.

The show is directed by Olivier Award-winning choreographer Karen Bruce who has choreographed for both Strictly Come Dancing and So You Think you Can Dance on BBC1.

Tickets are £17.50 to £31 from the box office on 0844 848 2700 or online at leedsgrandtheatre.com.
