London folk outfit Blowzabella are coming to Holmfirth following the release of their new album Strange News.
Veterans of the traditional dance scene, they have toured the world from the main stage of Glastonbury Festival to the far reaches of Africa, South America and the Far East.
Hailed as a band who experiment with the boundaries of folk music, including reviving the use of the English Bagpipes and the hurdy-gurdy, they will appear at Holmfirth Civic Hall on Saturday, November 2 as part of their 35th anniversary celebration tour.
