Live music, beers from around the world and delicious street food will fill Leeds Town Hall next weekend at the 2015 Leeds International Beer Festival.

Ale fans will be spoilt for choice with 49 breweries represented at the four day event, as well as Indian, British and Brazilian cuisine.

The weekend will also see dozens of sets from bands and DJs to keep the party flowing.

When is it?

This year's festival takes place from Thursday September 3 to Sunday September 6.

Where is it?

Leeds Town Hall, on the Headrow in Leeds city centre.

What are the opening times?

  • Thursday: 5pm-11pm

  • Friday: 12pm-11-pm

  • Saturday: 12pm-11pm

  • Sunday: 12pm-5pm

Do I need tickets?

Yes — from Thursday to Saturday tickets cost £7, with Friday and Saturday split in to 12pm-5pm and 6pm-11pm sessions.

The 12pm-5pm Family Day session on Sunday is £5, with free admission for under-18s.

There's also a 'Ticket to Ride' festival pass for £75 — this golden wristband provides access to all six festival sessions, a special commemorative glass, £15 in festival tokens, a print of the official poster, festival bag and t-shirt.

Where can I buy them from?

Tickets are on sale ow at the City Centre Box Office, in Electric Press in Millennium Square, Leeds. You can also book over the phone on 0113 2243801 (with £1 fees for transaction and postage) or online (with a 50p charge).

Which breweries will be there?

As there's 49 breweries attending in total, we won't list them all, but UK brewhouses including Camden Town, Beavertown, Ilkley Brewery, Kirkstall Brewery, Magic Rock Brewing, Manchester Marble Beers, Thornbridge and Weird Beard Brew Co will be selling their wares, as well as international names including Founders Brewing, Galway Bay Brewery, Tuatara Brewery and Yeastie Boys.

Is it just beer?

No — ciders will also be on offer, as well as a wine bar.

What about food?

You won't have to worry about lining your stomach — tasty grub from Indian street food kitchen Bundobust, posh fish and chip shop Fish &, Patty Smith's Burgers, Tios BBQ, the Greedy Pig sandwich shop, hot dog vendor Piggie Smalls and charcuterie and cheesemongers Reliance and George & Joseph will be on offer.

And entertainment?

There's a packed line-up of bands, musicians and DJs in the town hall's Crypt, on the main stage and in the festival marquee over the four-day festival, inclyding Cowtown, Portmanteau, the Leeds City Stompers, DJs James Bentham, Happy Juice and Theo Hudson and guest sets from the Brudenell Social Club and Belgrave Music Hall.

Is it wheelchair friendly?

Yes — there's full wheelchair access to the hall and wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities on all floors. Wheelchair access can be found at the front of the hall between the right hand pair of lion statues.

How do I get there?

There are regular train services to Leeds from Huddersfield Railway Station.

From Leeds Rail Station, turn left out of the main forecourt onto New Station Street, then cross the road onto Park Row. Follow Park Row up to the Headrow, then turn left and you will see the town hall on your right.
