Eric's

Lidget Street, Lindley, prices from £16 to £50

Michelin inspectors praised Eric's for its "appealing modern dishes packed with bold, distinct flavours". There's good value in its lunch and early evening menu, and on selected Saturdays it serves brunch or afternoon tea events.

La Cachette

Huddersfield Road, Elland, prices from £15 to £43

This French bistro was praised for its classic, seasonal cooking with international influences. The guide also noted its extensive menus and specials, plus its spacious bar and dining rooms.

Three Acres

Roydhouse, Shelley, prices from £29 to £56

The Michelin Guide states booking is essential for this popular seafood restaurant, which offers a range of fish and seafood dishes.

Olive Branch

Manchester Road, Marsden, prices from £20 to £45

This 'characterful' inn offers a classic, French-influenced menu with fish specials, according to the Michelin Guide. The inspectors praised the aesthetics of its stone floors, rustic walls and secluded garden, as well as the views from its terrance.

Design House

Dean Clough, Halifax, prices from £12 to £42

This long-standing restaurant housed in a converted mill was praised for its warm welcome, and the decor of bright artwork against white tables. The guide said: "Cooking is modern and creative; the tasting menus are popular."

Gimbals

Wharf Street, Sowerby Bridge, prices from £17-£38

Look our for Gimbals eye-catching illuminated window display, say inspectors, who praised the restaurant for its modern monthly menus, with subtle Mediterranean influences. "The desserts are a real highlight," they said.

El Gato Negro

Oldham Road, Ripponden, prices from £22 to £35

This former pub was praised for its eye-catching, modern exterior and warm, rustic rooms with stone walls and open fires. The restaurant serves refined, authentic tapas fishes (the chef visits Spain regularly) and staff are happy to guide you through the menu.

Shibden Mill Inn

Shibden Mill Fold, Halifax, prices from £14 to £35

As well as the food, Michelin inspectors also praised the Inn's comfy, individually furnished rooms (recommending Room 14 for luxury). They said the menus offer plenty of choice, combing pub favourites with more ambitious dishes, served by "well-drilled staff".

Holdsworth House

Holdsworth Road, Halifax, prices from £29 to £45

A popular wedding venue, the classic British cuisine served at Holdsworth House has earned it a spot in this year's guide.

Prashad

Whitehall Road, Drighlington, prices from £17 to £32

Inspectors praised the former pub's vibrant pink and blue decor, with wood panels from India fronting the bar. Prashad was included for serving authentic vegetarian dishes, from 'enticing street food' to 'original creations with countrywide influences'. They also recommended the dosas!
