Hurrah it's National Cupcake Week - now in its eighth year the event celebrates all creations of the much-loved sweet treat.
But if you don't fancy spending hours in the kitchen try a mug cake instead - they're like cupcakes only bigger.
Save the hassle of washing up various bowls and wooden spoons, as all you need is a large coffee mug, a spoon and fork.
The recipe is easy to make and you can find all the ingredients in your cupboard.
You can tweak the toppings to suit your tastes - top to your hearts desire.
Here's what you'll need to make 1 large serving.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons self rising flour
4 tablespoons white granulated sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons Nutella
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
Method:
- Add all the ingredients together and stir vigorously with a fork until you get a smooth paste
- Pop in the microwave for 2 minutes and 20 seconds (increase or decrease the time depending on how high the watt on your microwave is)
- Take out the microwave and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder
- Eat it!
