There are a few months to go before you can tuck into a Christmas lunch, but thanks to Tesco you can enjoy one of the best parts in crisp form.

The supermarket is now selling pigs in blanket crisps as part of its Tesco Finest range, with one pack costing £1.

Tesco describes the crisps as: "Bacon and sausage flavour potato crisps. The familiar flavour of smoky bacon wrapped around juicy pork sausages."

They come in pink and black packaging and might be just what you need to take your lunch to the next level.

If you've got a sweet tooth then why not give Tesco's Candy Cane crisps a try? The bizarre new flavour is also limited-edition and part of the Tesco Finest range.

The crisps have a slightly pink hue, to mimic the red and white colours of the traditional candy cane and have a peppermint taste.

Tesco describes them as: "Hand cooked crisps seasoned and dusted with a sweet peppermint flavouring for a sweet and salty taste experience.”

The bizarre new Candy Cane flavour has left shoppers baffled, with some taking to Twitter to share their bewilderment.

@emltxo said: "Tried Candy Cane flavour crisps today. Still don't know how I feel about them. Reckon I'd smash through a bag of them if drunk."

Whilst @stargirlpaige said: "Them Candy Cane crisps from Tesco are actually vile who even thought they were nice..."

Candy Cane crisps also cost £1. The two new flavours are part of Tesco's new limited edition range which also includes Massaman Curry Crinkle Cut, Pulled Pork and Brie and Cranberry.
