Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival attracts foodies from across the region — but there's lots of fun for kids, too!
The four-day festival has a full programme of entertainment, crafts and cookery for children in the Kids' Zone, as well as street entertainment around St George's Square.
The sessions are repeated throughout the weekend, so there's chance to try everything.
Here's what's on at this year's festival:
FairandFunky
FairandFunky worshops are great for kids who like getting creative — and a little bit messy! The sessions aim to help youngsters think about the world around them through art projects using recyclable materials, including mobiles, wall hangings and more.
High Jinx
Entertainers High Jinx combine magic, illusion, escapology and circus skills and are bond to keep little ones amused. They also help kids have a go at balloon modelling so they can learn a trick or two themselves!
The Ministry of Chocolate
Tasty treats lie in store with the Ministry of Chocolate, which hosts chocolate workshops and help kids learn more about where their chocolate bars come from!
Cafe Umbria
Kids can learn more about Italian cuisine and traditional Italian cooking (with Yorkshire ingredients!) at one of Cafe Umbria's workshops. Sessions at this year's festival will let youngsters have a go at making their own pasta and puddings.
Professor Brainstorm
The whole family will be wowed by Professor Brainstorm's tricks with liquid nitrogen — especially when he uses it to make delicious ice cream! This fast-paced show features food-related experiments including using a banana to hammer in a nail and the legendary 'Potato Cannon'!
