IT’S panto time once again at Slaithwaite next week, courtesy of the team that is Slaithwaite Stage Company.

The company’s production of Aladdin Beauty opens at Slaithwaite Civic Hall on Thursday, February 28 for the first of four performances. The show continues until Saturday with evening performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

The production team is led by Shaun O'Riordon who directs with James Alexander, normally on drums but this time taking on the job of producer, and Kim Crowther returns as choreography.

Pianist Kath Milward is the show’s musical director.

As for those key cast members, Katie Johnson takes the title role of Aladdin supported by a string of names familiar to Slaithwaite regulars.

David Tyas is Abanazer, Theresa Leahey returns to play Wishee Washee, Malcolm Tibbott gets the fun and the frocks as Widow Twanky while Helen Lockwood is back to play Princess Balroubador with Veronica Gabanski-Sykes cast as The Emperor.
