Live: Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival - Day three

The third day of the annual event is underway with thousands expected to flock to the event

Day three of Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival is underway.

The opening day and day two have been a huge success with thousands at the event over the two days so far.

It is the biggest event in Huddersfield's calendar and runs until late Sunday afternoon.

On the opening day St George’s Square became busy at noon on Thursday, an hour after the festival opened, and remained busy for the rest of the day.

And yesterday thousands poured into the square to enjoy the huge range of food and drink on offer, while the sun shone overhead.

And organisers Huddersfield Live - who took over the event when it was facing the axe - will be hoping for more of the same over the next two days.

We will keep updating you on what is happening at the festival.

That['s it for today!

We’re closing down today’s blog - here’s a round up of the action from day three of the festival! Join us tomorrow for the last day!
