MIKRON Theatre Company (right) bowed out in style last weekend with their final performance of their current autumn tour in front of a capacity crowd.

But just as they packed the van for the last time this season following their production of The Lacemakers at Marsden Mechanics, they announced plans for next year with two brand new plays due to be created for 2008.

Both will be seen on the company’s national waterways tour, then back on home ground with the company’s land-based autumn tour.

The two new shows will focus on the subject of debt.

The second will look at the history of the Co-op.
