HUDDERSFIELD Voices will take part in a major celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The choir is performing at Huddersfield Parish Church on Sunday, April 22, at 2.30pm.

It is a celebration of English music with a diverse programme including music by Henry VIII, Stamford, Elgar and Vaughn Williams.

Classics from the Beatles and Elton John will also be performed. Sarah Ogden is the soloist. The choir will be joining her in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Pie Jesu.

Alan Brierley will conduct and Malcolm Hinchliffe is the accompanist.
