THE Huddersfield Choral Junior Choir will sing in Holmfirth tomorrow.

THE Huddersfield Choral Junior Choir will sing in Holmfirth tomorrow.

The award-winning choir returns to Holmfirth after a three year gap to perform at Holy Trinity Church at 7.15pm.

Doors open 6.45pm and tickets are on sale on the door for £6 to £4.

In a wide-ranging programme entitled Songs in Spring, many talented soloists will lift your spirits as the programme includes songs from the popular group Snow Patrol, guitar music from an earlier century and solos from musicals such as Wicked.

The junior choir gives all members the opportunity to take part in different events – in February they took part in a whole day workshop and concert with professional musicians.

While in July they travel to Scarborough to perform at the end of a day out with their families.

They also have other performances coming up in London for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Proceeds from the Holmfirth concert will go towards supporting their work.

The Huddersfield Choral Junior Choir sings in three sections – with more than 70 youngsters aged seven to 21.
