PRIMARY school pupils are warming up their voices in preparation for a charity concert.
The children of Lindley Junior School Choir will perform a concert in aid of the Christian African Relief Trust – a Huddersfield based charity.
The choir, formed in 1999, was named Songs of Praise Choir of the Year in 2008. They have performed with Lesley Garrett and recorded a song with Aled Jones.
Children aged eight to 11 will perform in the main hall at Greenhead College on Saturday, May 8, in aid of CART.
Tickets cost £6 for adults. £4 for children or a family ticket for two adults and one child is £14. They are available from the CART shop on Summer Street, Lockwood, or by calling 01484 461800.
