Musicians have banded together for a groove-tastic gig to help safeguard Huddersfield’s A&E.

The show, organised by the #HandsOffHRI campaign, takes place at Holmfirth Picturedrome, on March 27 (6pm).

Headlining will be groove heavy eight-piece Nu Popes with support from 4Gotten Funk, The Dana Ali Band, and The Sellouts.

Tickets (£10) are available from www.picturedrome.net and Huddersfield town centre shops, including Vinyl Tap, John William Street.

Gig organiser Ian Bagshaw said: “As part of the events committee for the Hands Off HRI campaign, it is my great pleasure to announce that I have been fortunate enough to work with many of my musician friends to organise an excellent event that will both help to raise funds for the campaign and allow many of us to gather together for a night of brilliant local bands joining forces to support a worthy local cause.
