Acclaimed contemporary folk band Bellowhead will keep fans on their toes tonight when they make a special appearance down at an unsuspecting inn.

And everyone will be invited to join in with their spontaneous shindig, when they pull up a pew in one of Halifax’s pubs after the curtains come down on their first gig of their 10th anniversary tour.

Playing at the Victoria Theatre, the dozen strong ensemble will be joined by their new Revival ale to help keep the music flowing late on into the night.

Touring their newest album by the same name, it will be the first time the band have been back in the area since early 2013 and marks the fifth studio release since members John Spiers and Jon Bowden came up with the idea for their epic line-up whilst stuck in a traffic jam whilst on a duo tour.

They will then rally more folk lovers to join in the singing at 21 more dates around the UK.

Tickets, which cost £21.60, are still available for the Victoria Theatreshow and can be bought via www.calderdale.gov.uk/victoria
