Bruce Springsteen And the E Street band are coming to the UK for a five-stadium tour.

And fans of the Boss in Huddersfield can head to Manchester to see his show at the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Bruce and his band will play the stadium on May 25 as part of a mini UK tour, following phenomenal demand for tickets for the band's The River Tour across Europe.

It comes in the wake of of the release of The Ties That Bind: The River.

The four-disc package celebrates the 35th anniversary of Springsteen’s 1980 double-disc classic, The River and includes the 22 outtakes from the original ‘The River’ sessions, half of which had never been previously released.

Speaking on The River Tour in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Springsteen said: “We stand toe-to-toe with any version of our band that's been out there. It's a richer experience now because there is so much material to draw from. And that shared history you have with people makes the night very full, very beautiful.”

Tickets go on sale 9am Thursday, February 25 at 9am via Livenation
