The Grand Northern Ukulele Festival sees performers from around the the world descend on Huddersfield for three days of performances and workshops.

The festival, held at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, will feature more than 40 acts, as well as jam sessions, ukulele workshops, songwriting and more.

Artists will also talk about what inspires them in the festivals new Conversations series.

When is the Grand Northern Ukulele Festival?

This year's festival will take place from Friday May 27 to Sunday May 29.

Last year, the second year Huddersfield hosted the festival, revellers enjoyed fun in the sun, with dozens of players strumming their instruments and singing along at the festival’s main stage, the fusion stage and in the courtyard.

The town also hosted a number of workshops for the musicians and there were impromptu performances in the streets and at local pubs and shops, while music shop Vinyl Tap played host to a third stage.
