This weekend thousands of music fans will descend on fields in Berkshire and Yorkshire for the Reading and Leeds festival.

Unfortunately tickets for this year's event have already sold out, with around 90,000 set to attend.

The headliners include Eminem, Kasabian and Muse who will perform across the three-day festival. And there's more than 300 artists taking to the stage throughout the event.

Here's how to get tickets for next year's festival.

When do tickets go on sale?

Pre-sale tickets for this year's event went on sale around September 2016 so you can expect it to be around a similar date this year.

Organisers will announce when tickets are due to go on sale. Last year the announcement was made on September, 1 three days after the event ended.

If they follow the same schedule this year then you can expect a limited number of pre-sale tickets to be released next week.

Ticketmaster is the official ticket partner and if you are hoping to buy tickets for next year you should keep an eye on the website.

What tickets options are available?

You can either buy Weekend Camping Tickets or Day Tickets.

There is an instalment payment plan available for those who want to spread the cost of a Weekend Ticket.

The number of instalments available is totally dependent on what time of year you book your ticket - meaning the earlier you buy it then the more time you have to pay it off.

How much do tickets cost?

This year Weekend Tickets (which include all three days) were priced at £213.

Whist Day Tickets cost £72.
