The Stone Roses blew the roof of the Victoria Theatre in Halifax last night, with some fans calling it a 'religious experience'.

The Manchester legends performed an intimate show ahead of their four-night run at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

Fans queued in their thousands on Saturday to bag tickets for the special gig, which included the first EVER live performance of new single All For One.

The band announced the one-off gigs on their Facebook page and fans were seen running to the theatre as word got out. Some of the final few to get hold of tickets for the show queued for almost four hours.

Tonight the band will perform at the Sands Centre in Carlisle, before their first Etihad Stadium show on Wednesday June 15.
