IT’S a dream ticket – for audiences and organisers.

Get the two together for the first time and no wonder that their joint concert at Shelley in May is being billed as that dream ticket.

Both musicians have played Shelley village hall before – solo. Both have filled the hall to the doors so expect a packed house when they pool their talents on May 9.

The pair met by chance when they were entertaining on a cruise ship and realised their styles are similar.

Both are laid back and hugely entertaining. Both are world class musicians and both hail from Huddersfield!

When they realised they had both played in Shelley before they decided this would be their perfect place to have a concert – their only date together!

Both these super musicians have played all over the world, with some of our largest orchestras – Robin has even played his own composition, Concerto Primavera, with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra – and some of our greatest musical talent – Pavarotti, Lesley Garrett and Russell Watson. Reviews enthuse about ‘outstanding musicianship’ and ‘dazzling versatility and inspiration’.

But when they come to Shelley it’s like the South Bank in your own lounge!

The music begins at 7.30pm with tickets £10 (students and children £8) from Shelley Stores, Lydgate Styles or ring 01484 604486.
