ROCKERS Instant Species are offering fans the chance to get their names printed on their new album ‘This Rome...’.

The Huddersfield band are set to release their eighth studio album shortly and are offering fans who help promote the album a number of perks.

Frontman, Rick Garnett, said: “We’ve been working on our new album for the past 18 months, the longest time we’ve spent on any of our records, and the first mixes we’ve heard back are sounding amazing.

“At the moment we’re offering absolutely anyone to get their name printed on the new album artwork if they can do some free publicity for the band by sharing the flyer on our website on their Facebook page, Twitter feed, blog or website.

“We’ve already had quite a few people do it but we need plenty more.

“Plus they’ll also be able to buy the album half price when it comes out.”

The album is due out shortly and will use art from Huddersfield-based artist Fiona Wilson.

Rick said gig-starved fans wouldn’t have to wait much longer for their return to the live scene.

He added: “We’ve been pretty quiet on the gig front in the last 18 months as we have been working on this record and raising families amongst other things.

“Our main achievement last year was having tracks from our seventh album used for a number of shows on MTV.

“We will however do a few select shows to promote the album later in 2012.

“We have also pencilled in three videos for songs from the album, one of which will see us work again with Huddersfield based Ash TV.”
