THEY only released their debut single in November – but Huddersfield band Ten Floors are not the kind to keep fans waiting.
The indie rock four-piece have just released a three-track EP, The Apple Tree EP, following the successful response to November’s download only single, also entitled The Apple Tree.

The band, who formed in 2003, are celebrating the launch with a hometown gig at Bar 1:22 on Friday.
As well as The Apple Tree, the EP features new tracks Thousand Miles and You Want It All.
It has been produced by Mickey Dale, whose experience in the music industry has provided a valuable guiding hand for the band – who are all aged just 17.
Despite their youth, singer Josh Carruthers, drummer Adi Bell and guitarist Ste Brown and bassist twin brother Jake have managed to craft some quality piano-based tracks and win a growing legion of fans.
They’ve even had support slots with Eton Road, Gareth Gates and Bucks Fizz in previous months and played to a crowd of over 30,000 people at World Jam in Chelmsford Park last summer.
Josh said the EP was their next step forward. “After last year’s digital single download, we’re now really pleased to be releasing a physical copy of the songs we recorded with Mickey Dale. We’re thrilled with the sessions we did with Mickey.”
Ste added: “Lots of people supported our debut single last year, but lots more people wanted a physical copy of the single so as a result we’ve decided to release a CD not only with last year’s single, but with even more tracks put on there too.”
In celebration of the new EP, the band has also relaunched its website, www.ten floors.co.uk, which now includes an online shop where the band’s music can be purchased. The EP costs £3.
