RISING star of the singer-songwriter world Tim Daniel is being backed by chart-toppers Take That, who have given him a support slot on their current tour.

Tim, 30, of Mirfield, appeared with the band when they kicked off the UK leg of their world tour last Friday.

He will be with the band until the tour’s final date on December 23, including gigs at Manchester’s MEN Arena.

The gigs will give Tim a fantastic chance to boost his profile before he releases his debut album in February.

He may not be a household name, but he has certainly written songs for people who are – Toploader, Simon Webbe, Lemar and Delta Goodrem to name a few.

He also co-wrote one of boyband Blue’s biggest hits, Guilty, along with Take That’s Gary Barlow.

Now, he has written a set of songs based on his own experiences and wants to take the limelight himself.

When Gary heard Tim’s new material, he personally invited him to be one of the new acts to join Take That on tour.

Says Gary: “Tim Daniel is an exceptional talentŠwith a unique style of writing. This is an album full of hits, obviously written from the heart. As soon as I heard his songs I justŠknew he'd be greatŠon tour with us."
