HAVE I Got News For You star, Shazia Mirza (inset), is headlining a run of festive comedy nights in Huddersfield.

Mirza, who has won a host of comedy awards and appeared in 2010 David Baddiel penned film, The Infidel, will be appearing for four nights at the Comedy Cellar at the LBT.

The Brummie wit is known for sticking the figurative knife into political correctness with devastatingly funny effect.

Support on the night comes from Seymour Mace who has been dubbed as being like “Harry Hill reads Viz on acid”.

Seymour is a teller of extremely tall tales and High Priest of the terrifically twisted one-liner.

He is a former City Life Comedian of the Year and Best Breakthrough Act at the North West Comedy Awards and has featured on ‘Dave’s One Night Stand’, ‘The Weird World Of Russell Brand’, ‘The Stand-Up Show’ and ‘Clive Anderson’s Chat Room’.

He was also a regular in BBC2’s Johnny Vegas sitcom ‘Ideal’ playing the ill-fated twins ‘Craig’ and ‘Steve’.

As a result he is now unable to walk down the street without being recognised by the nation’s stoners.

His recent Edinburgh Festival show ‘Squeg’ garnered rave reviews including 4 stars from the hugely influential comedy website Chortle.

Compere for the nights is Anthony J Brown.
