EIGHTIES icons Blondie are set to perform a spectacular rural gig deep in a North Yorkshire forest.
The new wave group, who had a stack of hit singles in the late 70s and early 80s, will be playing Forest Live at Dalby Forest near Pickering. Special guest each evening will be The Lightning Seeds, who will be performing an acoustic set.
Income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving the local forests for both people and wildlife.
The tour begins on June 14 at Sherwood Pines and reaches Dalby Forest on June 28.
