LOCAL acoustic acts have made it to the heats of a new competition. Yorkshire Unplugged is offering the winner a slot at the Limetree Festival along with £1,000 of recording time.

Holmfirth singer-songwriter Steph Stephenson will be heading to Sheffield’s Forum Cafe Bar for Heat One this Thursday, while popular act Old Man Pie are set for Heat Two the following Thursday. The final will be held on April 19.
