BRIT award-winning folk star Beth Orton is hitting the road and heading for Yorkshire.
Discovered by William Orbit, Orton had UK success with her 1999 album Central Reservation and won the Best Female Artist at the 2000 Brit Awards. Also twice a nominee for the Mercury Music prize, her 2002 album Daybreaker went on to be a top 10 hit. The 39-year-old is playing Holmfirth’s Picturedrome on Thursday, December 2.
