UNSIGNED indie group Audit Control have made it to the final of the Futuresound Reading and Leeds Festival competition.

The Huddersfield band are one of 44 who will battle it out at 11 gigs in front of industry judges and fans at Leeds venue The Cockpit next month.

The ultimate winner will get a slot on the Festival Republic Stage at both festivals alongside the likes of Pete Doherty and the Horrors.

The five runners up will get the opportunity to play at both festivals on the BBC Introducing Stages.

Audit Control will play on Thursday, July 21.
