MARS Volta have announced their only UK show will be at this summer’s Sonisphere Festival.
Also added to the line-up are Opeth, Black Tide, The Black Dahlia Murder, Four Year Strong, Killing Joke, Rise to Remain, Alestorm, Watain, Firewind, Six Hour Sundown and The Treatment.
The festival is being headlined by ‘The Big 4’ – Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax.
Festival bosses have also announced Bill Bailey will headline the Saturn Stage for the biggest festival comedy performance ever.
Other comics confirmed include Jackass star Steve-O, Andrew O’Neill, Bob Slayer, Jason Rouse and Jason John Whitehead.
