Metal Fringe

METAL Fringe is back with a bigger line-up of bands.

The event, part of the Leeds Festival Fringe, a warm up event for Leeds Festival, has secured a host of top bands for this year’s shows.

Organiser, Neil Short, said: “We wanted to push the Metal Fringe profile higher by securing a better known act to headline one of the nights. With acts such as Down The Machine, Lifescreen, Triaxis, Crysis, Beretta Suicide, and the headline act of the festival being Laika Dog (pictured), fronted by Terrorvision frontman Tony Wright, we are in for an awesome three days.

“That combined with raising cash for Martin House, will make this year’s festival one to remember.”

Metal Fringe is at Empire, Leeds, from Friday, August 17, to Sunday, August 19, and is 14+.

Entrance to this year’s event is £3 per day, or £7 for all 3 days and can be purchased online from See Tickets or the Yorkshire Gig Guide website.
