CHARLIE Chuck is one of very few comedians who can have a crowd laughing without saying a word and it only gets better when he opens his mouth.

Looking like Leo Sayer after one too many, he flips from subject to subject in his own manic style.

He made his name as sidekick of Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer on their BBC Two TV series The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer, where he was always referred to as Uncle Peter.

Now you can see him in person when he heads to Huddersfield to appear at the Lawrence Batley Theatre’s Comedy Cellar.

He’ll be on the bill on Thursday February 5 with Phil Ellis, who has been likened to Harry Hill at his most chaotic.

Regular MC and Comedy Cellar master Anthony J Brown will be running the night with his usual black humour.

Tickets are £9 + £7 concessions, £5 NUS trough the box office on 01484 430528 or at www.lawrencebatleytheatre.co.uk
