A world of fantasy landscapes, make-believe towns and dream scenes can be seen in a light-hearted exhibition at the Harrison Lord Gallery in Brighouse.

The gallery on Bradford Road is showcasing the work of established artists such as Phil Lockwood, Susan Lincoln and Louise Rawlings, together with other aspiring painters.

‘A Fantastical Magical Wonderful World’ features colourful, whimsical, imaginative works to bring a smile to the faces of visitors.

Both Lockwood and Lincoln paint directly onto canvas without drawing first and say their work is spontaneous.

Many of the works on show are highly detailed – a real treat for the eyes.

The exhibition runs until November 2.
