Nurses and carers can enjoy a free sneak preview of the new Gary Barlow and Tim Firth musical The Girls on November Saturday 14.

Complimentary tickets to a dress rehearsal of the new show, premiering to Leeds Grand Theatre in November, will be given away at the theatre's box office in New Briggate at 10am tomorrow.

The Girls is inspired by the true story of a group of ladies who decide to appear nude for a Women’s Institute calendar in order to raise funds to buy a settee for their local hospital in memory of one of their husbands.

Tim Firth and Gary Barlow said: "This is about giving something to the unsung heroes; those people who care for others."

The tickets will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis on presentation of ID, with a maximum of two tickets per person.

They cannot be booked online or by phone.
