TWO comedy stars of TV are bringing their new show to a stage near you.

Laurence Clark and Andrew Lawrence will both perform at the Square Chapel, Halifax.

First on Thursday, April 12, is comedian, presenter and writer Laurence Clark with his show, Health Hazard, an off-the-wall look at how Americans view our NHS.

Filled with bizarre incidents, amazing characters, hidden camera footage and sharp political observations, Laurence tells the story of his one-man mission to sell the benefits of free healthcare to America.

Laurence Clark, who has cerebral palsy, starred in the ground-breaking documentary ‘We Won’t Drop the Baby’, shown last month on BBC One.

Other TV appearances include BBC Two’s ‘Are You Having a Laugh?’ and he has performed everywhere from the House of Commons to a double-decker bus in Sheffield.

His critically-acclaimed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe have gained him three five-star reviews.

The entertainment continues on Friday, April 13, when Andrew Lawrence, pictured right, takes the stage.

A regular at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2006, Lawrence has wowed critics and audiences alike.

The titles of some of his shows – How To Butcher Your Loved Ones, and his 2007 show Social Leprosy For Beginners and Improvers – give a clue as to his irreverent humour.

Well known for his Radio 4 series ‘What To Do If You’re Not Like Everybody Else’, he has also appeared on TVs Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.
