Blood Brothers — The Play

Laugh-a-Thong 4

Upper Hopton Spring Fair

Crafts and gifts will be on sale at Upper Hopton Community Centre in Jackroyd Lane, Upper Hopton, 10am-3pm. There will also be refreshments, a cake stall, tombola and raffle. Entrance costs 50p.

Celebrate St George's Day at Yummy Yorkshire

To mark St George's Day, Yummy Yorkshire at Delph House Farm, Denby Dale is rolling out a menu of Great British Classucsm including toad-in-the-hole, fish and chips and steak and ale pie, as well as traditional puddings. St George's Day Celebration with the Hepworth Brass Band

Head to Christ Church, New Mill for a programme of English music to celebrate St George's Day, including Crown Imperial, Nimrod from the Enigma Variations, the Lost Chord, Jerusalem and the Pomp & Circumstance March, courtesy of Hepworth Brass Band. Anarchy in the Ukulele at Hot Banana Music

Punk rock covers played on ukuleles! Head down to Hot Banana Music at 5pm to join the fun for £4 per session, no need to book. All abilities welcome, call 01484 767535. This event is held ever Saturday.

Brian Robinson Challenge Ride 2016

No more entries are being taken for the 2016, ride but you can still cheer the cyclists on this Sunday as they tackle a tough 75-mile routeinclyding a climb of Holme Moss! The ride is named after Britain's first Tour de France stage winner, and will set off from Huddersfield New College at 9am.

Kirklees Model Boat Club Steam and Mountfleet Open Day

Steam powered model boats and Mountfleet models will take to the water on Sunday as the Kirklees Model Boat Club shows off its collection. The free open day will run 10am-3pm and is open to all.

Happy Birthday Charlotte at Red House Museum
