Brighouse Theatre Productions will be presenting their annual Family Carol Concert on Thursday December 12.

The choir will be joined by The Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band and the choir from Longroyde Junior School in Rastrick.

Both choirs will be under the direction of Jill Lambert and will be accompanied on the piano by Philip Baxter.

The theme this year is Carols with a Twist and as well as some new carols, there will be plenty of opportunity to listen to and join in the well-loved and well-known carols – some of them with the brass band accompanying.

Some of the solo items will be performed by members of the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar – the next show to be staged by Brighouse Theatre Productions next April.

But before then they will be staging pantomime Beauty and the Beast at Brighouse Civic Hall from January 23-26.

Tickets for the Carol Concert can be ordered by phoning 01484 719163 or bought on the door.

They cost £8 for adults and £7 for children and senior citizens and include a cup of tea or coffee and a mince pie.
