It's Tuesday - and if you're at a loose end tonight, there's plenty going on across West Yorkshire.

Enjoy The Crucible at West Yorkshire Playhouse - Billed as one of the finest plays of the 20th century, Arthur Miller's The Crucible will take to the stage at the West Yorkshire Playhouse this evening, and will run until  October 25.   2. Step back to 1963 - Don your miniskirt and prepare to sing and dance along to Dreamboats and Miniskirts at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford. The show, set in the swinging sixties, is the sequel to Dreamboats and Petticoats - will Bobby and Laura take one more short at stardom? Tickets cost from £16-£30.50 - click here to book.

  3. Learn more about the night sky with West Yorkshire Astronomical Society - Ever wanted to learn more about the stars that twinkle at night? Well you're in luck - tonight is West Yorkshire Astronomical Society's weekly open night at the Rosse Observatory in Carleton Road, Pontefract. Tony Doubtfire will present Astro News and all are welcome to attend. Adult visitors pay a fee of £3 but children go free. And if you're having problems with your telescope at home, bring it along - the society may be able to help.
