Live entertainment from Ray Quinn, Michelle McManus, Diva Fever and more is planned for Huddersfield Pride this weekend.

The day-long event celebrating Huddersfield's LGBT community will also hold a vigil for the victims of the Orlando shooting, when 49 people were killed and 523 injured in a horrifying attack at gay nightclub earlier in Florida in June.

Tokyo Huddersfield is the main venue for the Pride festivities, and will be open to all ages on the day until 9pm.

There will also be stalls selling homemade wares and advice services including free HIV testing.
