It's Tuesday — and while the weekend might seem an age away, there's still plenty going on to keep you amused.

  1. Learn more about local history at Beaumont Park: If you'd like to know more about Huddersfield's past, head to Beaumont Park for Ken Kaye's social history group's monthly gathering.   2. Sing along to classic musical Guys and Dolls: Huddersfield Amateur Operatic Society will debut their latest show, Guys and Dolls, at the Lawrence Batley Theatre tonight at 7.15pm. Featuring songs including Luck be a Lady,Guys and Dolls and Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat, the show promises an exciting portrayal of love, luck why you cant gamble with affairs of the heart.   3. Laugh-out-loud at Leeds Grand: Also beginning a four-night run tonight is award-winning comedy One Man, Two Guvnors, at the Grand Theatre, Leeds. Promising classic British comedy guaranteed to make you laugh out loud, the show follows dim-witted minder Francis Henshall in a rollercoaster of deceit, close shaves and outrageous moments.
