It's already revived the Pokemon obsession — and now you can finally play Pokemon Go in the UK.

Huddersfield fans will be able to venture out and hunt Pokemon creatures after Pokemon Go announced the game was ready to download from Google Play and iTunes.

The game is free to play with some in-app purchases available, including 'lures' which attract Pokemon to you.

Players can scan their surroundings while out and about and if they’re lucky, a wild Pokémon might pop up on their screen for them to grab.

They can then throw a ‘Poke Ball’ at it in an attempt to capture the Pokémon and add it to their collection.

You never know — you might spot a Pikachu in St George's Square or a Bulbasaur by the bus station!

We want your pictures of the Pokemon you spot in Huddersfield — email them to digital@examiner.co.uk with your name and where you found them.
