Mad Friday comedy is coming to Rock Cafe tonight.

Comedians, Vince Atta, Martin Semple and Paul Henry will perform stand-up sets while Heidi Bang Tidy will take the stage for a burlesque show. MC is Examiner snapper Dave Cowan.

The event tonight costs £10. Ticket includes free Christmas food and goodies. Doors 7pm, first act 8pm.

Folk troubadour Roger Davies is hosting a free Christmas Show at Cellar 88 in Holmfirth.

Roger said: “We had a great night there during the Holmfirth Festival of Folk and it's great to be asked back. It’s an intimate space with a great atmosphere. It’ll be a night of upbeat, celebratory songs with some festive favourites as well as new songs from me plus live favourites from my previous albums.” The gig is tomorrow

Electro legend Greg Wilson is to headline an intimate Christmas party at Verve bar.

The December 21 Ibiza themed event will feature support from the We Love All Stars and a reunion of resident DJs and people from an amazing season on the White Isle including Ian B Levins, Jamie Fatneck Low, Big L and Billy Caldwell, who is flying in from New York City.

Rock favourites The Scaramanga Six  will headline a free Christmas shindig at The Parish.

The Huddersfield based band are renowned for their rousing shows and have promised gig-goers a ‘Yuletide romp’ at tomorrow’s Dec 21gig.

Support comes from new Huddersfield supergroup Tropical Contact and Benson. Doors 8pm.
