It's nearly the weekend — why not indulge in some Thursday fun?

There's plenty going on across West Yorkshire today, whether you fancy some comic entertainment, some swinging tunes or the chance to meet new people!

Here's three ideas to liven up your day:

  1. Put on your dancing shoes and head to Beaumont Park: Fancy a waltz? A tango? Or just a simple glide around the dance floor? Head to the Friends of Beaumont Park's monthly social tea dance today at 2pm for some dancing fun. Held at Beaumont Park's visitor centre, the dance costs £3 and refreshments are available for a small charge. Places are limited, so call 01484 645217 to book your place.
