We're halfway through the week - looking for something do today?

There's plenty going on across West Yorkshire, whether you're looking for a fun day out with your little ones or want to refresh body and mind with some yoga.

Here's three events going on today:

  1. Take your under-fives to Wacky Wednesdays at the National Coal Mining Museum - Enjoy some storytelling, singing and crafts with your little ones at the National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield. Held at Parkinson's Yard in the Learning Curve, the sessions frun from 10.15am-11am every Wednesday during term time. The doors open at 9.30am to allow parents and kids to pop in for a coffee, juice and cake before the fun begins.

  2. Enjoy fantasy storytelling at Marsden Library - Listen to award-winning storyteller Ursual Holden-Gill at Marsden Library this evening as she presents her own fairytale, The Bard's Bridge, in a special edition of the Marsden Yarn Spinners. The award-winning actress is presenting her stories for adults, featuring comedy, traditional song and some Westmoorland clog dancing. Tickets cost £3 - click here to book.

  3. Try some yoga at Croft House, Mirfield - Give body and mind some TLC with a yoga session at Croft House in Upper Hopton, Mirfield, this evening. The session, suitable for beginners of all ages, will be led by tutor Gilbert Ivans and runs from 7.15pm-8.45pm. The class costs £4.50. Call Kathy on 01924 494156 for more information.
