Huddersfield Town Hall

Huddersfield Town Hall was designed by John H Abbey and was built in two stages between 1875 and 1881. The style of the building is classical, of the Corinthian order. All the stone was quarried locally at Crosland Moor. The carving was executed by Thomas Stocks of Berry Brow. These days the building plays host to Kirklees Council meetings, weddings, function and even musical shows and concerts.
