Norman Park
The park is situated in Birkby off Birkby Hall Road, some two miles from Huddersfield town centre. The park was originall opened to the public in 1896 and originally featured cascades and a fountain. In 1920 a memorial to those from Birkby and Fartown who died in the First World War was unveiled. The, park, while not as big as Greenhead or Beaumont, is still very well used and features an adventure playground which local youngsters enjoy.
